Our Story
Risen Savior Lutheran Church is a new congregation being planted in Piedmont, Oklahoma, under the care and oversight of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. We are in the early and prayerful stages of formation — gathering those who hunger for faithful, Word-centered worship and life together in Christ.
Our vision is simple: to proclaim the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the only hope for sinners, to administer His Sacraments faithfully, and to form a community shaped by the ancient faith once delivered to the saints.

We do not yet have a building or a pastor, and we will not begin regular services for a few months. We are actively calling a pastor and seeking a home. If you are interested in being part of this congregation from the very beginning, we warmly invite you to reach out below.
What We Teach
As a congregation of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod, Risen Savior holds to the Holy Scriptures as the inspired, inerrant Word of God — the only rule and norm of all doctrine and life. We confess the three Ecumenical Creeds and the Lutheran Confessions as contained in the Book of Concord (1580) as a faithful exposition of Scripture.
The Bible alone is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, the source and norm of all Christian teaching.
Salvation is entirely God's gift — not earned by human merit, but freely given through Christ's atoning work.
We are justified before God through faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose for our justification.
Holy Baptism and the Lord's Supper are means of grace through which God truly gives forgiveness, life, and salvation.
We confess the Apostles', Nicene, and Athanasian Creeds as faithful summaries of Biblical doctrine.
We subscribe to the Book of Concord (1580) as a true exposition of Holy Scripture.
